We provide all scheduled childhood vaccinations at no cost to holders of Medicare Cards. The Practice Nurse at Westwood Medical Centre is an immunisation accredited provider and the centre maintains up to date with changes to the National Immunisation Program Schedule and vaccination standards.
Babies are currently immunised against Hepatitis B at their hospital on the day of their birth. Scheduled vaccinations are due at 2 months, 4 months and 6 months of age, and then at 12 months, 18 months and 4 years of age.

Hepatitis B (hepB)
Adolescents receive vaccinations primarily via their schools but catch up vaccinations can be provided at the surgery for any missed vaccinations in the school program.
Our centre is also able to provide vaccinations for at risk groups. Enquiries can be made though our practice nurse.
