Our Doctors
Churchill Road Medical Centre is a bulk billing general practice with a number of male and female doctors available. It is just 6kms from the Adelaide CBD on the corner of Alexandra Street and Churchill Road in Prospect, providing convenient access to patients in Prospect, Kilburn, Blair Athol, Enfield, Nailsworth and Brompton. There is a bus stop at the front door (BUS STOP 12) and ample off street car parking.

Dr Mark Sobieraj

Languages: English & Polish

Dr Sobieraj has over a decade of general practice experience. His interests include musculoskeletal and sports injuries, men’s health including testosterone replacement, diabetes and insulin management, cardiology and blood pressure management, paediatrics, chronic disease management and chronic pain management.

Dr Azeran Azhar

Languages: English & Malay

Dr Azhar’s special interests include children’s health, mental health, diabetes and chronic disease management.

Dr Ewa Stankiewicz MBBS

Languages: English & Polish (fluent). Limited with Slovak, Czech & Russian.

Dr Ewa graduated medical school in 1991. After completion of graduation, she finished her internship and worked for several years at the QEH, mainly in accident and emergency. Dr Ewa has an interest in women’s health, children’s health, aged care, mental health, management of chronic diseases, diabetes, hypertension, heart and respiratory problems.

Dr Jenny Chong

Languages: English, Cantonese and Malay

Dr Jenny Chong graduated from the University of Adelaide and worked at the Royal Adelaide Hospital for 3 years. Special interests include educating patients in the management of chronic diseases: such as asthma, emphysema, diabetes and high blood pressure. Her current focus includes preventative health care and weight management, particularly body image aspects regarding nutrition, exercise and social expectations. Jenny advocates for advance care planning within the greater community and participates in the Palliative Care Shared Care Programme for patients requiring end of life care. Jenny is also experienced in the areas of women’s health, contraception advice and contraceptive insertion.

Dr Loan Duong

Languages: English

Dr Duong’s special interests include women’s health, shared antenatal care, contraception (including contraceptive implants) and paediatrics.

Dr Kira Stapleton

Languages: English

Dr Kira Stapleton received her MBBS in 2016 from The University of Adelaide. Kira is currently working as a General Practice Registrar and has an interest in women’s health, palliative care, children’s health, travel medicine and Indigenous health.

Dr Channa Fernando (MBBS) is a Fellow of the RACGP and has an interest men’s health, chronic disease management and skin cancer.

Our Nurses

Our practice nurses, Nalin, Kristine and Denise, are all registered nurses with General Practice experience. They are highly experienced immunisation providers and excellent chronic disease nurses. All nurses perform care plans and health assessments for all ages and can help you to achieve your optimal health.
